Talise Gold is used to being called Princess Pathetic. Not only is she the first royal Araluen in a century to be sorted into the Droplet class, but she can't manipulate water to save her life—or anyone else's for that matter.

Left to the torment of the higher Icicles class, and her former friends, she tries to stay out of sight and out of mind where possible.

Unfortunately, when an attack on the neighbouring fire kingdom sends Fusilis students to the elite Aurora Academy, she quickly catches the eye of Prince Flint Hotaru. 

Rivalries between the two kingdoms flare, threatening to reignite another war and burn anyone who dares defy the norm.
